Shoshanna Boroosan
Shoshanna is a compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker who works primarily with teens, young adults, and women. She supports clients facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, and complex family dynamics. Shoshanna has a special interest in helping individuals who are seeking a clearer sense of self, managing emotional overwhelm, or navigating difficult relationships.
She believes that true change starts with a strong, trusting connection between therapist and client. Shoshanna creates a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood and accepted. Her approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique experiences.
Using a blend of evidence-based techniques—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—Shoshanna tailors her approach to meet the specific needs of each client. She is deeply interested in the connection between the body and emotional healing and is currently expanding her training in somatic approaches. She brings a thoughtful, curious mindset to this work as she continues to explore how body-based techniques can support her clients’ growth and healing.
Her goal is to help clients build self-awareness, reconnect with their inner strengths, and develop emotional resilience. She works collaboratively to support lasting, positive change and empower clients to live more fulfilling lives.
In her free time, Shoshanna enjoys music, movement, and meaningful moments with the people she loves.
